Coaching, fully funded through AVGS.
My coaching can be fully funded through an Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein (AVGS). You do not need the voucher for the free initial conversation. Afterwards, you receive details of the suitable programme and information for your caseworker. Once the programme has been approved in writing, there is no cost to you; administration and invoicing are handled by the AZAV-accredited provider verMITTELPUNKT.
What is the AVGS?
The Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein (AVGS) is a coaching voucher issued by Germany’s Federal Employment Agency. It allows you to work with an accredited provider without paying for the coaching yourself. It is available to jobseekers, but also to freelancers, self-employed people and people in transition who are registered with the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter.
Both career coaching and business start-up coaching can be funded.
1. Initial conversation: We clarify your starting point, goal and whether AVGS funding may be suitable.
2. Programme and documents: You receive details of the suitable programme and information for your caseworker.
3. Apply for the AVGS: You discuss the funding with your caseworker and submit the application.
4. Submit the voucher: Once issued, you send the AVGS to verMITTELPUNKT. The provider submits the final approval documents.
5. Start the coaching: After written approval, we arrange the first sessions.
Your caseworker decides whether you are eligible for an AVGS. It is worth asking, especially because self-employed people and freelancers are often overlooked even when they may qualify.
From the initial conversation to approval
Administration through verMITTELPUNKT
For AVGS-funded coaching, I work with verMITTELPUNKT, an AZAV-accredited provider in Berlin. You work with me in the coaching; verMITTELPUNKT handles the formal submission, approval documents and invoicing.
What the coaching can cover
AVGS determines how the coaching is funded, not what we work on. Professional reorientation, starting a business, transitions and complex decisions can all be part of the process. You can read more about the work on the 1:1 Coaching page.

Do I need an AVGS before I contact you?
No. You do not need the voucher for the free initial conversation. The application and approval come afterwards.

After the initial conversation, you receive details of the suitable programme and information for your caseworker. You apply for the AVGS, submit it to verMITTELPUNKT once issued, and wait for written approval.
What does the coaching cost with an approved AVGS?
